Four teams from the main event will fight four invited teams for a single spot at the Fall Showdown.

Nerd Street Gamers have announced that they have partnered with BLAST to host an official qualifier for the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown at their upcoming LAN event, Fragadelphia 15. The qualifier will feature the top four teams from the main Fragadelphia tournament as well as four invited teams, including GODSENT, Extra Salt, and paiN, and will offer one spot at the Fall Showdown in October.

Fragadelphia is set to take place from September 10-12 in its hometown of Philadelphia, and on top of offering four spots at the BLAST qualifier will feature a prize pool of $60,000 in a partnership with ESEA. The North American organizer added $25,000 to the prize pool and offered spots at the main event in their July Cash Cups, through which the likes of Bad News Bears and Triumph have already qualified.

BLAST has also announced that it is working to create a global qualifying series with their regional partners that will feature qualifiers around the world and feed into both of their seasonal Showdown events. Some of their partners for this year include the likes of Fantasyexpo, Nordic Masters by Pelaajat, and the FiReLEAGUE, who are again set to run regional qualifiers for the Fall Showdown.

The BLAST Premier Fall Showdown will feature 16 teams, eight of which come from regional qualifiers, six from the Fall Groups, and two from invites. Taking place from October 12-17, teams will face off in a single-elimination bracket to determine which two teams will advance to the BLAST Fall Finals.
